finding a used car has never been easier for the generation of today. In a world where everything has been made easy for us, from buying a dream house on the internet to finding a dream wife on the web, cars too have become as easy to find and buy as popping down to the local corner shop for a loaf of bread. Is this a good thing? That is to be debated. The ease with which we can find our car and obtain credit through the internet has in a sense made things quicker and easier. In theory this is a good thing as this should leave us with more time to do, well, more meaningful things with our life. But life does not always work out quite like it should.
For a start, the ease with which we can buy some of the most important purchases of our life feeds the blatant consumer society in which we all live today. Buying a book or CD off the internet, great. A car, yes, that's fine, after all it saves us time, money and opens up a much wider choice for us. But where is this going to lead us tomorrow? We are already seeing people looking for husbands and wives on the internet. Isn't it getting just a little bit too creepy? An invasion of privacy?
